    1. Select under Audio->Full processing mode
    2. Select Audio->Conversion. Change the the Sampling rate to 44100Hz if you are going to make VCD or SVCD MPEGs and 48000Hz if you are going to make DVD's.
    3. Save the wav by clicking on File->Save WAV. The wav will be a huge audio uncompressed video file if you haven't selected any compression like mp3.

    if ive done evey thing right should i get a dat file that is about 115 meg ?

    If you do this correctly it will be a .WAV file and the file size depends on the length of it. if its from a full movie then anywhere from 700mb - 1100mb

    10MB per minute. Let's say your movie was 80 minute long, then the uncompressed WAVE file would be 800 MB.
