  1. Just wondering if anyone can help me. I can't hear any sound when I play clips in Premiere. When I open the files in any other program there is sound, but nothing in Premiere. This is making editing very difficult.

I don't have any problems playing clips with sound in Preimere. What type of clip are you trying to play?

  3. AVIs. The sound is there, I can play the audio if I open the audio only, but one I combine it with the video there is nothing.

Try unlinking the audio and video, then see if Premiere treats each individually.

  5. I can remember having problems with sound in premiere not long back, and it was caused by having "totalrecorder" installed.
