I'm using Adobe Premiere 6.5 to edit my captured films and convert them with the CCE plugin to SVCD. It works great and is much faster then TmpegEnc. But there is one minor thing I haven't figured out yet. When the program is finished exporting I end up with 2 files. A large file with no extension but with the selected filename and a .vaf file with the same name (example: "testfilm" 300mb & "testfilm.vaf"3 mb). I can watch the movie by renaming the large file ("testfilm.mpg"). My question is this: why doesn't CCE give the right ectension and what is the .vaf file for.
Tnx

Did you try opening up your explorer, and clicking Views>options>uncheck hide file extensions for known file types????
Are there any guides out there for what you're doing? I might wanna try it myself......
