ok, so here's the deal, i have a bunch of mpeg files i recently downloaded, 29 to be exact, that i would wish to convert to divx because of their size, which range from 200mb to 250mb. now, what i was wondering was if there was a way to add all of these files to a queue list and maybe leave them to convert over night or so, thanks.
    good times...

Absolutely. Use the wizard on TMPGEnc. Load the first file, set up the parameters, and the last option lets you add it to a batch file. Repeat until all 29 projects (files) are loaded, get ready for bed, then tell TMPGEnc to execute your batch file -- Nightie Night!

I made a mistake. You can do batch processing of DivX files on VirtualDub, not TMPGEnc. VirtualDub calls it "Job Control. A job is loaded by checking the "Add Operation to Job List and Defer Processing" box on the Save As requester. Then once all jobs are loaded, select File-->Job Control. When the box appears, selecting Start begins the batch processing.

would there be a way to say, set it to convert a whole directory with like 50 files, using the same setting for each one?
