A friend of mine has a few DVDs only available on region one which he wants to backup to play on his region 2 Mac(running OS 10)I have used DVD Decrypter and DVD2ONE.The backups play fine on PC,DVD player and pal PS2(into NTSC compatible TV) but when played in Mac DVD Player a "not permitted" message is shown. We were able to play the VOBs with VideoLan.
Does DVD Decrypter change the region code to 0, and if so, does Mac DVD Player recognise this? How can he play the DVD from start to finish without loading vobs?![]()

Try using VLC (VideoLAN Client, available at www.videolan.org) on the Mac to play them, it should work fine.
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."
