Ok, so heres the problem. I compiled my movie in Maestro and even made working menus. Once the movie has started I want to be able to push the menu button on my DVD remote and go back to the menu. Right now everything works fine, but once the movie has started there is no way to go back to the menu without ejecting the DVD. I know this is simple, I just am wondering which place i should put a link to the first menu?
Thanks people

In the "Connections" window set your "Menu" into the "Title Menu" tab.
Also make sure you didn't disable the Menu button. In the "Tree View" right click on your Movie and goto properties. Make sure that none of the Menu Call settings are checked.

How do i set this up? -
You need to assign what the Menu Key does for each movie in the connections, if it's not assigned it does nothing.
Top menu should always work, should bring up the main menu with no buttons selected. -
Yes I didn't realize you had several menu's. Click on the each of your movies but close the movie window and look at the conections window which should still be open. In this connection window you would set the menu's for that movie.

Look under the "sources" window on the top and you will see the "First Play" tab, now directly to the right of this under the "target" window right click and choose a movie and chapter point, or a menu and corresponding button. This is what will play as soon as you insert the DVD into a player.
There, thats a good explanation of how to set up first play, actually the best i have seen on any of these websites "besides the picture guides". Now all i need is probably the same instructions, but just need to know where to "right click" and insert a menu action or what not.
I understand this is an old program and not supported much anymore, its just too bad there is no owners manual floating around. I have looked on all the popular sights, and only get sketchy info on how to build the dvd, but not much on the menus.
I guess i am just out of luck, i just don't understand how some of you people use this thing, but never really know all the features of it? Do you simply not have menus and commands? Any help out there. I know someone knows how to do this, and is able to explain it. -
Ok, so thanks for your help either way. I did figure it out, and i actually think one of you (mr.zippy) tried to tell me how to do it, but you were not real thorough.
This is what i did.
INSIDE THE CONNECTIONS WINDOW
#1
In the individual movie (exmple being movie2) in each "chapter 00:00:00:00 menu key"
#2
In the corresponding tab on the right under the "target" menu right click and insert the menu that you would like tit to go to. I had to do this for each chapter. Not bad and it now works perfectly.
