I only have a laptop to do video editing from, and my storage drive is a external firewire drive. Since the laptop hd's performance is not the greatest. I was wondering if daisy-chaining two firewire drives when converting will give perforance increase like using two storage drives when converting video? Thanks in advance.

I would have to agree, it probably won't make things much faster.
