Whats your favorite first person shooter game?

I Love computer games and dont get to play them often but when I do I usually stay up way too late. But anyway I was just wondering what your favorite first person games are? I'm currently playing medal of honor and thoroughly enjoying it. Once i get my Video Card installed i have a pile of games waiting to be played like:

Battlefield 1942
Lord of rings: fellowship of the ring
Return to Wolfenstein
Ghost Recon

cant wait to get splinter cell when it comes out for the pc.

Whats your Favorites? and opinion of any above games?

If it's a LAN or net game against friends, the it just has to be Half-Life, no questions.

If it's a net game against people I don't know, then it's the Black Hawk Down Demo.

If it's just me, myself and I against the PC AI, the it's Medal of Honour (even though it's far too easy - I finished the Spearhead expansion pack in 5 hours!!!)

I haven't played too many games lately, but I think my current favorite shooters are probably Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast (controlling the lightsaber is clumsy, but it sure is cool), Soldier of Fortune, and Serious Sam (a touch of humor makes a big difference).

I know this is a very old game but it is the most fun. Check out free for all with excessive server. It is fast and furious.

bf1942 of course, but only as multiplayer and preferably capture the flag.....run tanks, planes, boats and there are also coming a lot of mods such as desert combat(modern planes and tanks)...

Team Fortress Classic for life.. No flames people... I know its not popular, but thats cause uve never tried it and played with "leet" people.

I kind of like TF Classic, but I actually liked the original QuakeWorld TF better. Of course, most multiplayer games can't be played on public servers anymore. Too many people who don't have anything better to do than shoot their teammates and block doorways, too many people who can't be bothered to actually learn how to play team-based games, etc.

How bout the original return to zork? u know the text adventure. all those commands, like sleep, drink, eat, wasnt that a fun game!!!
