I have a haupaugge tv capture card with composite in....I run my dvd player into the composite in on the tv capture card and the audio into my line-in on my soundblaster live 5.1
Problem is cyberlink PowerVCRII loses audio in at least one of its 600 megs capture files...there is no ryhme or reason to which file either. anybody got any ideas...ive tried different bit rates on the audio...different sizes on the video....nothing helps...any suggestions.

Just in case its because of lack of info heres more specs
i'm running a 713 cellie (oc'd) with 512meg of ram
its a hauppage pci wintv board based on the 878/9 chipset. I have a toshiba sd3800 stand alone player..
its a sound blaster live 5.1 value sound card.
Any suggestions. i'm very new to this and any help would be appreciated..
