    I am attempting to convert an audio file using Virtdub but I get an error message saying to "check sampling rate and channel count". After checking, I realized that it is a 5 channel audio file. I haven't had one like that before and I was wondering what's the proper flow to convert it to AC3 for the final burn. My normal flow is : MP3 to wav using virtdub, then wav to AC3 using Besweet. Any suggestions??

    Audio > direct stream copy
    SAVE WAV

    rename .wav to .ac3
    convert .ac3 to .wav
