Does anyone else get this error in nero when burning DVD's from an ISO image. It happens almost straight away during the first 1% and trashes a disc.
I used to get this error really regularly. I have just now perfected a method of burning so this error does not occur, but I am sure I should not have to go through all this to get sucessful burns.
I am not sure whether it is one of these methods, that fixes the problem or a combination or all of them together, but I have burnt so many coasters now, I make sure everything is set before I burn.
Set transfer mode to PIO
Disable disc autodetect
Close all programs with end it all 2
I am burning ISO images created with DVD workshop.
I can surf the web once burning has started succesfully, but if I have just 1 explorer window open (no other programs running not even in the background) and I try to start a burn, I get this error and there goes another disc.

Well it seems I have not perfected a method, just had another failure after following the steps I described. This is costing a fortune in failed discs.
I am beginning to think it is either the discs, (I have used intenso and zero defex with the same problems) or my burner. Seriously considering sending my burner back and seeing if I have the same problems with a new one.
