    I was wondering what the majority of the people use to capture and convert. AMD with various chipsets (VIA, SiS, Nvidia) or Intel with the Intel chipsets.

    Which one is more compatible in general? I am using an ADVC-50 analog to digital converter.

    Not this again. People have asked this question numerous times. Everyone says they love AMD, but they all go for the shear power of the Intel. In a recent poll a majority of people claimed to be using AMD chips.
