  1. Trying to convert a divx (avi) to vcd/svcd. Have done it a million times, but this one ....

When I try to open the audio source with TMPGEnc, I get an error message saying unsupported format?

    Some facts -
    1. Movie (avi) plays fine in Media Player (although a little out of sync - i can deal with that), so all codex installed.
    2. VitualDub says Video is DiVx 5.0.2 and audio is 44100 Unknown compression (maybe AC3?)
    3. Gspot says video is DiVx 3.0 and audio 0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3.

I usually deal with AC3 with toolame in TMPGenc, but if the audio wont load, this is not an option.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanx

  2. Ok dummy, pay attention to what the hell u are doing before wasting so much time and expecting others to help ur sorry ass

Try making your Environmental changes in TMPEnc BEFORE you try to load the avi audio. When u do that, the avi audio loads just fine doesn't it???

Isnt it nice to answer your own questions
