    I'm stuck and lost. I want to convert my vob files to an avi/divx. I tried easydivx, but it kept freezing. Then I moved on to dvd2avi and had no luck with the sound. I was wondering if someone could recommend a stable, user friendly program for this type of conversion. Thanks.

    I used DVD2AVI ver. 1.77 (I think) or close to it. NOT 1.86. I forced film, and extracted the audio to ac3/wav with no problems.
