  1. I have been using the DVD to DVDr for dummies guide
    http://www.digital-forums.com/dvd2dvdr/intro.htm
trying to back up Pulp fiction. All had been going well ripped the DVD using Decrypter, Ripped the audio track using DVD2AVI, Re-encodwe using TMPenc, Ripped chapters with Chapter extracter. Now all I need to do is compile and burn the DVD. Ater much hunting I found DVD Maestro only to find that it will only work with 2k and XP and not my ME system.

What other programs could I use to get the same results, i currently have my *.m2v, *.ac3 and chapter.chp file.

I will be burning with a Sony 500a using Nero or Recordnow DX

Greatful for some advice, I have had to re-post with a new heading to try and gain a reponse, sorry if I have wasted your time.

  2. John,

I am just curious .... why not just strip the main movie in IFOEdit or rip everything and just split the movie in IFOEdit and skip the re-encoding altogether ? You have to use 2 DVD-R's yes, but at around .70 cents U.S. per DVD-R, cost is not that much of an issue.

    Just wondering...

  3. or goto www.doom9.org they've got good tutorials and loads of info. and at the point your at you'll still need to do a pulldown on the m2v file(if you used the pulldown in tmpegenc then you'll need to reencode it again as I have yet to see the tmpgenc pulldown work right. both sites have tons of help.
