Guys.... I need some help! I am really getting frustrated by framerate conversion.
I am trying to convert a PAL DVD to NTSC. I am using TEMPGEnc to convert the framerate from 25 fps to 23.976 fps. However, when I try to import the m2v file into DVDMaestro I am always getting an "Invalid Frame Rate (0xc1070014)" error message.
I am following the instructions from "Framerate conversion" in this web site to make the conversion http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/userguides/78178.php
I noticed that if i convert the file to 29.97 instead, I don't get the error message no more, however, the movie plays too too fast.
Any help on how to convert this damn files will be appreciate.
Frustrated man.

hi, i'm no expert but i've done quite a bit of converting and know that if you try to convert from 29fps or 25fps to 23.976fps the film always goes fast because it is craming 25 frames into 23 frames and as far as i know theres not alot you can do about it except keep the frame rate the same as the soure file.... sorry i know i'm not much help
forgot to say if you convert the other way e.g 23fps to 25 or 29 you might still get prolems as the picture may stutter or slow down
