I have 3 mpeg-2 files that were encoded using TMPGEnc at 704x480....I actually burned them to a DVD.....then I decided to add another mpeg-2 file and create a second DVD that will contain all 4 files....
I'm in a little project backing up all my baby's VHS videos and I made a mistake while counting the number of episodes per DVD.....
Problem: Files are to big ~1.2 MB each and when I put them together they won't fit in the DVD.
I would like to resize the files to 352x480.....I tried TMPGEnc but it does not change the resolution at all.....What am I doing wrong?
Can anybody tell me haw to do this?.........thx

Rempeg can resize the resolution. You can find it in the tools section to your left.
May the force be with you. -
Changeing the resolution will not reduce the file size. You need to re-encode with a bitrate that reduces the file size. Encodeing is time sensitive so you should use a bitrate calculator to determine the correct bitrate.

wulf109 is right,
changing the resolution will not make the files smaller.
you can use rempeg to make it a lower birate, but you will loose qulity.
the best thing you can do is do the whole thing again.
captur, convert to the bitrate you want, and author the dvd again.HELL AINT A BAD PLACE TO BE
