    I'm after a new DVD player and I have heard great things about this one. I just wondered what some people who own it think about it.

    I have heard it plays miniDVDs and SVCDs, are any mods needed for them to work?

    i have a RP82 and it works great .. plays svcd just fine (though manual says it does not) -- it even displays SVCD on-screen . fantastic picture and feel of quality.

    problems:


    slow booting up ..

    SOME disks (svcd) have trouble playing the last 1 -2 min. , seems brand dependent and if disk is written completly full ..
