VideoStudio 7 Free Upgrade from VS6 ??

Since Ulead announced the release of VideoStudio 7 scheduled for around the end of February, has anyone heard of a free upgrade offer (similar to what they are currently offering on Media Studio Pro 6.5 to 7.0) for purchasers of VS6 between now and VS7's release. Seems like a logical thing to do. I almost bought VS6 last week after a bad experience with Studio 8 (what a joke S8 is!), glad I held off, but I really don't want to wait a month to buy a replacement.

Availability and Price
VideoStudio 7 will be available in late February in North American retail stores and catalogs for $99.95. It will also be available as an electronic download at www.ulead.com for $89.95. Registered VideoStudio users will be able to download the upgrade version for $44.95 or buy the box edition for $49.95.

Thanks, I had seen the press release, I am hoping for a Free upgrade offer for VS6 purchases made between the VS7 announce date (1/23/03) and the availability of VS7.

I don't believe they had a free upgrade from UVS5 offer (similar to the MSP 6.5 -> MSP7 deal) after they announced (but had not yet released) UVS6. However, time will tell what happens in the next month.
