I have bought the BDP S 370 from Singapore and have updated the firmware to 623.
Can some one pls help in
a. Advising whether the DLNA upgrade is part of the 623 upgrade
b. If not, pls let me know the version and location.
c. Can you make the BDP S 370 to play all region BLU Ray movies

Hello, my name is Chetan. I bought sony bdp-s370 bluray paler, it is region A. I live in India, which is region C. I m not able to play other region discs. I have no idea about how to upgrade it, Please help.

Short answer - no.

Sony DVD and BluRay players are among the most difficult in the world to make region free at this time. But if you are lucky enough to have one of the few models that can be made region free, that is ONLY for DVD play. Region free BluRay playback requires a hardware modification. I've never heard of this being available for any Sony BluRay players.

Finally, it's worth mentioning that Sony "hacks" may require special remote control devices and you may need to enter an enormous amount of numbers via the remote control. If you make even one mistake in the numbers the hack will fail and you may even brick your player.
