    Good evening to all! I have a question about a region 2 dvd. My wife's cousin lives in Germany and is coming to visit in a few weeks. I live in the U.S. and would like her to bring a movie over that is not available in the U.S. My question is can I rip the region 2 dvd to harddrive and how? I am assuming it might be a little more involved than a regular region 1 rip since it might be pal and not ntsc. Can someone please point me in the right direction!

    DVD Decrypter has a mode that allows it to explote a loophole in region settings.

    The region setting does not revent the disk from being read, only from being played.
