  1. You have a really fantastic windows configuration where all your drivers are right everything works in perfect harmony......you ghost it and you live with the peice of mind that if something goes wrong you can restore....

Well my friends take some words of advice from thefox......test your ghost!!!!!!!

Let me paint a picture.......I was capping at 352x288 but I wanted to start going for the higher rez 352x356...but my HD kept dropping frames...as this was not a partitioned hard drive ...So I entrusted Partitin Magic (Usually a fantastic program) to split my already NTFS'ed HD it all work fine then I reboot the second time and BANG I could even access Windows ...a mulitple array of hardware and software errors occured. I suppose in hind sight I should have Partition when I first installed the OS the first time...and I suppose I should have suspected partitioning an NTFS harddrive was always going to f#@k up but I took a chance on a well established app....ie partiton magic.

So anyways after I tried for days to get back into windows by every means that I knew or could come up with..(safe mode ,,,,last know good config etc) I thought hey I have 2 ghost copies 1. a clean OS with no programs installed and 2nd a ghost of my OS with all my apps and drivers working in harmony.....

So I wiped the HD and tried to install the ghost only to discover the second disk of my beautiful config didn't work

it was currupt or as I like to say currfucked.....

I have for the last two days tried to get back to that finely tuned machine .....but even with low rez of 352x288 I drop a million frames where as before I would drop maybe 2-3 an hour.......

So in closing people TEST YOUR GHOST's please please test it .....the is an option in ghost to test .....don't just over look it make sure they work!!!!!
How long could we maintain? I wondered. How long until one of us starts raving and jabbering at this boy? What will he think then?
