I see that alot of people bash DVDx. While I know the encoder sucks, it does an OK job when frameserving it to TMPGenc, though a bit slow. It's also great for cropping before feeding it to TMPGenc. The only reason I use this configuration is I only have about 4 gigs a free hard drive space. Are there any other programs that do the job of ripping directly from the DVD and frameserving to TMPGenc that will work with with my drive space limitations? I'm just looking for speed and I'm burning VCDs only.
Thanks,
Tim

I don't think that works forks for VCDs. Only DVDS. Correct me if I'm wrong?
