  1. Is there a limit to the amount either in space or time when capturing Video? Pinnacle Studio apparantly will not permit me to capture beyond 87 mins of DVD quality video. If this is the case, then would someone please advise how I can capture 3-4 hours of video.

    Thanks

    What's your capture format?

Did you run out of disk space?

    I'm not sure about 87min
but there are HEAPS of capture cards that are limited to 71Min 11 seconds
this is apparently a driver limitation
I don't know about the Pinnacle Studio but I thought it was a DV system and should not suffer from this problem

  4. Found out what the problem was. Apparantly, FAT32 will not allow a single file to exceed 4.1 Gig in size. This equates to around 87 mins of DVD video. I simply converted the partition I was capturing to, to NTFS, and now there is no limit.

Thanks to those for helping me out.
