  1. Hi,
    I have follower all the help posts on this problem, i have re-installed everything, Smart Ripper, DVD2AVI and TMPGEnC ect are all in the same folder, i installed 3.11,4 and 5 codecs and nothing!


    Any ideas?

    I have been following a conversion guide and tried a number of them now so its my software setup but i dont know what!

    I just ran into a problem similar to this yesterday. The problem is that I hadn't installed the codec into my system. I had to right click on vifp.inf and select Install to install the codec into my system. Hope this helps!

  4. thatks for the replys! it all sceams fine now! a didnt do anything, just got fed up and left it, went back and it worked! i was having problems selecting the D2v file for the Video track wasnt i,

    I dunno but i have just updated to Windows XP from Windows 98 and as u might know, it comes with Media player, i have a film which is a Divx and media player only playes the audio, well it only plays for a few seconds then crashes, so i have to use Divx player! Doeas anyone know if much chance is required r.e codecs ASPI drivers ect (obviously i have installed the ones in the help links i use) basicly has n e one upgraded to XP and everything still runs fine with the kit u already have?
