I have 2 SVCD MPGs that are slightly too large to burn onto a CDR. Is there any way that I can fit each movie on its own CDR, without demultiplexing it and cutting it? Can I re-encode it to shrink it a little, or would that be the same amount of trouble? The exact file sizes are 835,612,792 and 835,596,524. Nero says they are too large to fit on a disk. Thanks for any help.

Use 90" CDRs...
And activate overburn on Nero, for at least 90"...
File -> Preferences -> Expert Features -> Activate Overburn... and time...
Test if your CDRW burner alow overburn, see here in vcdhelp...
And make one SVCD, and test in your DVD Player...
My BTC CDRW 16x10x40x alow overburn for 90+" and my DVD Player, Mustek v562, read without problems 90" CDRs...
Sorry my english -
If you don't want to use larger discs you might demux the files, encode the audio with a lower bitrate and mux again.

Use the beesweet GUI for converting to a lower bitrate mp2
And yeah mux it back with the mpeg with tmpeg -
Just burn it. Use VCDEasy instead of Nero. Had several that size that looked like they may not fit, but they work fine on an 80 min CD-R with overburn.
