    Hi,
    I have spent all weekend trying to figure out this problem. I have some avi. files I am trying to convert to vcd format. I am using Nero Express 5.5 which is supposed to convert, encode and burn. I burned three Friends episodes onto vcd. The first episode came out with sound only. The other two were fine. The next disc I tried, they all were only sound. I read alot in the forums and am now trying to convert it using TMPGEnc. Does anyone have suggestions about what could be going wrong in Nero. Am I on the right track using TMPGEnc first? And how long does it normally take to convert a 22min. avi to mpeg. It seems to be taking an awfully long time. Thanks for any help. Jen

    DON'T ever use Nero to encode as it gives you horrible results!!! :P
