  1. Is there a permanent way to disable this 30-day limit? (i.e. not any kind of registry fix). Need it for one of the more recent releases (around 12i)

find a version u have never run on your comptuer, ever.

    download and unzip.

set your system clock to a far off year, say 2020.

    run tmpg and close it

    set clock back to 2001

your mpeg 2 will expire in 2020

  3. I *think* the newer versions are smarter than that. I did what you said, but it still says "30 days" as opposed to say, "30,000 days" but I'll check tomorrow, if it still says "30 days" it probably worked, if it says "29 days" I'm in the same spot as before.

  4. Ok, this question has come up before and i am confused. My system consists of: Duron 800, 256 RAM, Windows ME. My version of Tmpgec DOES NOT count down the days for MPEG2 encoding, I have NOT downloaded a patch, I downloaded it from the offical site (version beta 12i). Every time I use it, it tells me I have 30 days left, and doesn't change. can anyone explain?
