Any AC3 to Wave experts outthere???

I've followed the guide "convert a divx with ac3 to vcd" by the letter

Although I can't get my hands on a working Headache3 rar file....all of them are corrupt tried a million websites

In the users post section they reccomend the use of Ciler's AC3 tool and Nero wave Editor (can anybody give me a play by play of how to use Nero)

I've extracted the AC3 with Virtualdub....renamed it to AC3 then use the AC3 tool....but I as a result i get really low volume wave files....i really have to max my volume to get a bit sound

Is this normal??? The ones with AC3 are supposed to have superior sound right, just downgrading it to stereo??????

I use BeSweet to do all AC3 <-> Wav decoding (and also encoding!)

Never had a problem. The downmix options are simple and superb
If you use the GUI you can avoid getting your hands dirty on the command line

I am lazy so I just use Xmpeg to open the vobs and it can extract any audio stream (AC3, LPCM, MP2) to wav. Available here: http://www.mp3guest.com/Xmpeg_Index.asp?l=US

Since you already have the ac3 use px3 convert to change to wav and normalize

I just installed the Nimo codec lite pack and it has an ac3 codec which seems to make all my programs including Tmpegenc compatable with ac3 its wonderful.
