Hi,
I capture from DV camcorder using ScenalyzerLive. I creates creates multiple files with dates appended to the file name. I need this because I use the capture date as the Chapter Text on the DVD menu (To give an indication of when it was recorded)
I encode these AVIs to MPEG2 (DVD Template) in TMPGEnc Plus.
I use MyDVD to author DVD. MyDVD creates a chapter for every MPEG file I add. The end DVD plays fine when I burn it. But I see a small problem. At the end of each chapter, the video freezes for about half a second before it moves to next chapter. Is there a way to make this freezing stop?
I thought one reason could be that if I have 12 MPEG2 files, MyDVD creates 24VOB files. Is there any thing I could do about it?

It's because you split the videos into multiple files. The half second freeze thing is the time when your DVD player seeks for the next track.
EDIT: can you use custom frame (instead of the first frame) of a video for the chapter thumbnail in MyDVD? so that you don't have to split it into multiple files.
