My system hangs after about 15 minutes of capture.Please could this be a processor problem,do i need a faster one? my capture card is video wonder pro 3 tv tuner card by genius at www.geniusnet.com.tv.thank you for the help.![]()

Are you aware of any file size limitations associated with your operating system?

As mentioned in the last reply - you've probably hit 2Gb or 4Gb file size when capturing AVI (depending on OS and HD format: FAT32 v NTFS)
I see your card captures MPEG1 - try this setting.

Hi twodogs,thank you but what setting are you suggesting,is 455mhz o.k for capture and to encode using Tmpgenc.John Westbury,thank you also,just starting out and dont know where to look for the capture size,plse.let me know how i can get that info.
