    Could be...

    1. Don't have available audio codec.
    2. Audio track available but not "enabled".
    3. Volume is down.
    4. Bug with OS/codec/QT interaction
    5. There is no sound track.
    6. Your speakers might not be turned on.

    Possibilities:
*Take file to PC-test there, use Gspot to find what codec, use Google to DL codec if available.
*Convert while in PC to QT MooV.
*Test in OS9, see if works there.
*Get another copy from somewhere else or reencode.

    HTH,

    Scott

  3. Is this a DivX file with MP3 audio? Most DivX audio plays incorrectly (or not at all) in QT Player. Try VLC http://www.videolan.org.com
