  1. can someone tell me why i keep get this message when i try opening up a divx using virtualdub it says, virtualdub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source avi file and will rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during process for better compatibility. it only says this for certain videos, how do i make it keep VBR? because when i play the file back after it makes it CBR the audio and video are out of sync. or is there another software that will let me cut it without a problem?

  2. i ignore the vbr warning
    try saving the wav first
    audio > full process...
    compession >none
    convertion >44100hz
    file > save wav
then when you cut:change the audio to wav and video and audio to direct stream copy

  3. Just use nandub instead, it handles VBR properly
