I will be installing w2k shortly on a system used for DVD
creation from VHS sources, and was wondering which
(if any) service packs to apply to a new w2k professional
install. SP1, SP2, or SP3??? I will be using the NTFS
file system.
I had heard of trouble with SP3 for instance on some of
the forum posts, but couldn't really find a definitive answer.
Thanks

Yeah, I had heard that about SP3, but I'm going to upgrade this weekend to SP3 anyways (with ACPI disabled to clear any USB issues). My OEM W2K disk comes with SP3 integrated. I've got an extra 60G hard drive so I thought I'd just load it on that from scratch. If I see any unexpected DVD burning problems afterwards I'll just revert back to my old hard drive.
