Hi..,
I have a HP CDRW Drive and Samsung DVD Drive with XP Professional as O/S.
I am following "Ultimate Newbie DVD Conversion Guide v2.1" from http://www.vcdhelp.com/sefy/?id=ClassicalGuide.html
I am unable to burn the VCDs using VCDEasy as I am getting "No CDRDAO" in VCDEasy's status Bar.
I have installed Deamon Tools and created Virtual Drives. I am mounting BIN/CUE files created by VCDEasy, I am able to view the VCD using PowerDVD.
I have copied the entire virtual drive on a CD and wanted to play in my DVD Player. I am unable to play the VCD, however I can view the Folders in VCD as my DVD Player can also play the KODAK Picture CD, I was able to navigate to folder which holds the .DAT file and played it. I can play it but I am unable to select the chapters and I unable to use the option like FF, REW, PAUSE.
Can anyone help me with
1. How to make the VCD autoplay.
2. How to select the chapters.
thanx

Autoplay is a feature of your software DVD player. Take a look at the settings. Of course, it (or some other autoplay utility) has to be running when the VCD is inserted.
As fo VCDEasy, you probably hav a non working ASPI layer. Install ForceASPI and CDRDAO ought to work.
