  1. I have used rempeg2 lots of times, but sometimes I get a strange situation where it basically hangs. I've looked on several forums for someone with a similar problem but have found nothing.

I start encoding and get the following.

    transcoding started...
setting up vbr-controller using slected options
    pass 1...
    decoder thread started...
    encoder thread started...
    decoder done...

..then it just stops and does nothing.

I'm currently trying to backup PAL Matrix but I've had probs with X-Men as well. It doesn't seem to matter which encoding options I use. I daresay this is a really obvious problem but I'd REALLY appreciate some help on this.

    cheers

  2. I know 99% sure what your doing wrong. I did the same before.

You need to make an .cffl file like this (on some kind of tutorial, doom9):

    CFFL

    xxx_01_0.vob
    xxx_01_2.vob
    xxx_01_3.vob
    xxx_01_4.vob

    Make it this way:

    CFFL

    c:\xxx_01_0.vob
    c:\xxx_01_2.vob
    c:\xxx_01_3.vob
    c:\xxx_01_4.vob

Where c:\ is the directory & hard disk where you saved your vob's

    That will fix your prob!

    Have phun!

  3. Thanks for such a quick reply. Unfortunately, I've already done what you suggest!

Rempeg usually works for me. I just can't work out what's going on with this one.

    cheers
