    using TMPGEnc Beta12j to convert my captured avi file from my hi8 sony camcorder to SVCD, what are the best settings because TMPGEnc Beta12j is kind of confusing. please remember that i want the absolute best picture quality at full screen. someone please help me with this.

    Use the Premade SVCD tempate.

    Make these changes:


    Motion Search:

    High Quality or Highest Quality.

    Now go to GOP structure.

    I-Frames: 3

    P-Frames: 3

    B-Frames: 2


    This improves the picture by adding more Guide Pictures to it.

    The highest quality would be I-Frames Only but that would be kinna huge.
