i am able to re:encode divx to svcd via virtdub and tmpgenc but i have found some divx files are not accepted by tmpgenc i have run them through divfix to ensure it is not a d/loading error but it appears divx is not always the same as other divx.........are there different forms of divx or should there be a constant divx standard format....if there is different forms or divx...are there any programs or sites where i can get a converter to format all my divx files to 1 standard that tmpgenc will read and accept....as i am getting tired of reading how to programs that tell me what to do(which i already know) but dont tell me y 1 divx is accepted but another is not.
any help will be well recieved....thanx (clearly going insain) RevinanT![]()

In the tools section of this site get Nimo codec pack (build 7 is best) and use that to install xvid, divx3.11 alpha, divx 4, divx 5.02 codecs to sort your problem
