  1. Geez I have read post after post on this and I have followed all the instructions and its either full screen and streched vertically or its widescreen..... I prefer 16:9 but the misses will not SHUT UP and she wants it full screen... I have tried TMPgenc with the keep apect ratio ticked and it comes out full screen but streched... Please is there a way or some software that will make it full screen without streching ?? If so please tell me how to do it ...

    Thanks

You can use the "No margin (keep aspect ratio)" which will prevent the stretching but you lose some screen area on either side. Most older movies were shot to accomodate this loss so they could be put on video without losing any important bits.

You need to use the "Center Custom Size" option in the Video Arrange Method box. It will take some testing with sizes but the preview option will show you the effect of the size you select.
