ive been making backups of dvd movies usind dvd decriptor , ifo edit and img tools , with no probs. what i would like to know is , is it possible to put more than one movie (episode) from a dvd (like the buffy ones, 4 eps per disc) onto the dvd-r using the same programs ? or will i need some others ?

  2. well you will most likey have to rencode the video files and then use a different authoring program like spruceup. Ifoedit doesn't support 2 videos, i think.

  3. you can do it easily with dvdmaestro. just create a different timeline for each movie. then you can either make a menu or just have one play after the other. DONT REENCODE ANYTHING. put as many as you can on without having to reencode.

Make sure you rip each episode seperate, otherwise you may have video audio sync problem slike I and many others have had.
I've just done a six epiosde UK series and am about to burn all to one dvd-r.
If I remember I'll report back with quality.
Encoding (TMPGEnc Plus) was around 2600, I can forgoe a little quality to ensure all on one disk.
The backgroud pick tajken from my original and chapters look superb (I did a test last night)!
