ive been making backups of dvd movies usind dvd decriptor , ifo edit and img tools , with no probs. what i would like to know is , is it possible to put more than one movie (episode) from a dvd (like the buffy ones, 4 eps per disc) onto the dvd-r using the same programs ? or will i need some others ?

well you will most likey have to rencode the video files and then use a different authoring program like spruceup. Ifoedit doesn't support 2 videos, i think.

you can do it easily with dvdmaestro. just create a different timeline for each movie. then you can either make a menu or just have one play after the other. DONT REENCODE ANYTHING. put as many as you can on without having to reencode.
True Story -
Make sure you rip each episode seperate, otherwise you may have video audio sync problem slike I and many others have had.
I've just done a six epiosde UK series and am about to burn all to one dvd-r.
If I remember I'll report back with quality.
Encoding (TMPGEnc Plus) was around 2600, I can forgoe a little quality to ensure all on one disk.
The backgroud pick tajken from my original and chapters look superb (I did a test last night)!
