  1. Hi,
I trying to make a backup of the movie "Bring it On". I just want to backup the movie only ,with no menus or extras.
    The softwares I use are:
    DVD Decrypter
    IFOEdit
    REmpeg
    ImageTool
My problem is when I'm done reencoding the movie. After doing the IFOEdit routine with the reencoded files, the video plays back with some video stuttering, video corruption(seems like the video is alternating between being blurry and clear) and some audio sync problem---this happens throughout the movie.
    In summary:
Reencoded around 5200 kbits---video has stuttering and corruption and audio sync problems
Reencoded with 4600 kbits---stuttering and audio sync problem were elimanated but the video corruption is still there.
Did anybody ever backed up this movie and if so, what was the bitrate your were using to reencode?
I use the softwares I mentioned above because in the past I have had no problems with them, except for the movie "The Matrix" which I ultimately fixed using the advise given in this forum.
Any advise given would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  2. I encountered the same problems ReMpeg'ing the DVD several times so I opted to split the DVD instead. Disk 1 plays fine, but disk 2 freezes in various specific points. I have to believe there is something odd on the DVD that is causing us to both encounter the same problems.
