re-name your video stream to a shorter name 8.3 naming convention and don't put it in a dir more than 3 layers deep ..
then re-import it into maestro ... -
A quick question: Did you link the movie to anything? If your movie imported with a report of "OK", then I suspect that you need to link it to something (like FIRST PLAY).
-
you dont have to - you may get a error during compile that no first play is found but the disk will play fine ...Originally Posted by SLK001
some versions and on some platforms maestro hicups on really long path names/ file names and file names with weird charactors in them .. this was a known problem going back some time , rememeber maestro was written to be used only on NT4 in fact .. which is a testiment to how well it was written that is can run so well on any nt platform .. -
if anyone has a walk through that works please mail it to me

I checked the file you emailed me and I got the same error. On closer inspection I noticed you had 5 movies, only 1 of which actually had video/audio. I deleted the 4 unused movies, as well as the blank menus and command sequences, and it compiles OK now.
