playing unfinished avi files from kazaa how do i?

can someone please tell me how to do this......i know if i have an mpeg i can just change the dat to mpeg and it will play but how do i play the others..???????????

to play partly downloaded AVI files use AVI preview get in the tools section

KaZaA can't preview unfinished AVI files unlike MPEG files which are previewable even if they're not completed. Download AVIPreview in the Tools Section and see if that helps!!!

If you wanted the spyware free version of that program,
search for k****-lite on google, and the newest version
of that comes with an avi-viewer, doesnt work too good
with mpeg though,think version is 2.02 or something...

download version 2.0 it allows u to used speedup and cheater. There is a site that shows all three proggies. Not at home now but I will look tnite if you still need it!

Make a copy of your downloading dat file (u dont have to stop downloading to do this) and paste it somewhere, open with virtualdub and enjoy, if u have the codecs (get Gspot to check codec requirement if not) or use divfix to rebuild index on copied data file and watch in WMP
