  1. I have 04 files (mpeg) which was BIN files that I converted to MPEG using VCDGEAR, Now Im wondering how can I put these files togheter (which software do I need?) I tried Final Cut Pro 3.02 but it gives me this error:

    File error: Unknown file

Also I dont know how Am supposed to burn the file (s) on a dvdr(w) using toast. All I have to do is choose dvd from toast menu and drop the MPEG(s) file (s) and then burn?

Another problem Im facing is that I have a GI file (playstation2 dvd) which I have not been able to burn using my Mac + Toast... According to a friend there's no way to burn a GI file to a dvd on a MAc only PC, is that right?

    Thanks

    step 1) collect underpants
    step 2) ?????
    step 3) profit

It's very simple really. I think DVDSP only works with mpeg 2 video to make dvd format disks (m2v video and ac3, wav, dts or pcm audio, plus subtitle streams). You could try to put toast in VCD mode and load up a DVD-R's worth of mpeg data and burn it, see if it works in VCD compatible DVD players. Never actually tried it myself.
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."

dsp will take mpeg 1 streams with ac3 audio, i think it will also take mpeg2 streams at 352x480 w/ ac3 audio. but not 480x480.
