hi all,
i read all the posts on dvd workshop here and couldn't find a solution for this. i've called tech support at ulead and was no help at all. here is what i do:
- capture video using pinnacle PCTV card to DV or MPEG2
- tried using tmpgenc and also dvdworkshop to convert to a compliant mpeg2 file for dvd burning (of course mpeg2 file during capture didn't need to be re-encoded in dvdworkshop)
the problem i'm having is when i burn the movie to DVD using dvd workshop including using the anti-flicker option, the DVD movie plays like crap on my dvd player and also on powerdvd on my computer. it flickers and movie is very choppy. i've tried reversing field order and using premiere as a capture program as well and still the same. i've tried using multple plugins in tmpgenc including de-interlace and ghost reduction but nothing. since the DV file is 30fps, i shouldh't have to use 3:2 pulldown or IVTC. again, the mpeg2 and DV file play fine before workshop has a go at it using powerdvd on my computer.
any ideas?
thanks guys
