After I demultiplex it all, how can I burn the mpg to a DVD? Can I just use a program such as prassi primo dvd or do I need to do more. Do I need to change the size or anything? I'm talking NTSC.
I don't want to author, cause I don't really need menus or anything. Just want to be able to watch the full movie.

You have to author it to be able to burn it. You coudluse Ifoedit 95 to author it. It's freeware. Then use a burning program to burn it,I prefer Nero. The video must be m1v or m2v and must use a valid DVD resolution. The audio must be sampled at 48000 to be DVD valid.
