AVI to SVCD error message........

Trying to convert a couple of avi music vidz to svcd with TMPGEnc....
No luck....getting a message "cannot open or, unsupported"......
Also tried to use WinMPG music converter......and also getting "error convert mpg"... and tried to convert all files to avi with same prog. and can only get the audio file.........

This happened to 3 avi vids.......what else can be done..????

P.S. also tried DVD2SVCD program...no luck....

If anyone could please suggest something else to do I'd appreciarte some help.......THX !!!!!!

Did you try change the directshow priority in tmpgenc?
