After reading the reviews of this DVD player on this site, I went to Circuit City to buy this player.
Asked the saleman specifically about the playing of DVD +R format. It wasn't on his spec sheet or on the box. It show -R/RW. Sony site shows DVD+RW only.
Some of the posts on this site show that DVD +R work. Does anyone know for sure before I go and buy this player.
Thanks, Rich

Why don't you take a DVD+R to Circuit City with you and try the player out? I just bought one (DVD player) and it plays everything I've thrown at it (though I only burn -R/W's). If they really want to sell you a player, they'll let you test it out, if not, try Best Buy.
