    Is it possible to fit 2 svcd format films onto a dvd and play it on a standalone player?

    or do i have to re-encode?

    so...does that mean you have 4.6 gig of space to put SVCD on a recordable DVD?
    I did'nt know you could do that?
    Is it only for mpeg2 ...will mpeg 1 not work?
