I have several TV episodes that are 200mb avi files 1hour long each, I want to put a bunch of them on a DVD in a format I can use in my DVD player. I tried following the guides but the conversions I did made the files like 5gb. Is this normal, is there anyway to fit all of these episodes on 1 disk or will i have to use several? Any help would be much appriciated thanks.

Which guides did you follow and what tools did you use? What format are the originals in and how long etc. Tell us this and we may have a chance of helping you a little.
One thing I will say, if you authored to DVD-video with Sonic MyDvd (I know this is bundled with many DVD burners), it will have converted the audio to uncompressed PCM which takes up loads of room. This may explain the size issue.
